Christmas Music!

I'm doing school, (obviously) and I decided that I was in the mood for Christmas music! So I hopped over to my brother's blog and I'm listening to everything!!! Well, almost everything! All my favorites that is... which might as well be everything!!! 

I know, I know, you're thinking, "Christmas music? Is she serious? Christmas was 4 months ago!! Spring finally started and she's listening to Christmas music!! What is wrong with her?" Yeah, I know! There is nothing wrong with me!!! I'm super excited about Spring and all the trees budding and everything being green and beautiful!! I'm so excited to start working in the garden and mowing the lawn and weeding the flowerbeds!! But all this Christmas music is just amazing!!!! So I have to listen to it, and I don't care what you think!!! :) It's happy music!!! I mean really ♪"It's the most wonderful time of the year!"♪ I think this can be sung at the beginning of every season!! :) I hope you have a great week!!!

Busyness

So you know those weeks where you have no time to do anything? Yet you still have to get all of the above done? Yeah, I've been very busy! I have succeeded in getting another week behind in school and so I'm gonna have to work really hard to catch up! (not looking forward to that) That means I might still be a little (rather, A LOT) slow on blogging! Things are going to slow down soon right? I finished the program notes, orchestra is over in a week and a half (*sniff*), and then I can finish my school and have some time off over the summer to catch up on my life, right? I hope so!!! I'm already filling up the next month!!! I'm excited about everything we're doing though!! Some dear friends are coming the first weekend in May so I'm very excited about that!!! We have so much to talk about!!!! :)

Tonight, I played with my brother, sister, and a friend in a quartet!! It was good!!! I was excited about it all!!! There is nothing in life quite like a paid quartet gig!!!!! :) As Michael would say, "life is too short for unpaid gigs!" (of course there are exceptions!!) I hope everyone had an amazing day!!! (despite the rain and snow!)

Thunderstorms!!

Thunderstorms are so cool!! It is so amazing to see them roll in and then hear the thunder and see the lightning! I love thunderstorms!!!! If I was allowed to stand outside the whole time I would, but Mom and 

Dad (wisely) make me come in after it starts raining. There's just something about the wind whipping my skirt and my hair as I stand there watching the clouds roll angrily across the sky! Everything about it makes my spine tingle and excitement build up inside of me! Last summer an incredible storm blew in while I was fixing lunch, my nieces were questioning my sanity! It was soo cool!!!

Guess who took this awesome picture? You guessed it, I did!! :) Haha! I'm getting excited all over again just looking at it!!! It's so cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

I don't have a song for today, but I do still have a recipe and a song for later this week for you all!!! :) That is, if I get to writing them! Sometime, I'm gonna get you a post that doesn't have any exclamation points, just to prove someone wrong! ;)

16 Things I Love About Bek

Today is Bek's birthday!!!! A dear friend!!! I'm so excited for her!!! She has been most encouraging to me in the past year, what did I ever do without her? So, since it's her birthday I'm going to share 16 things I love about her! Why 16 you ask? Well, it's a special number! ;) 

1. She's a Christian. (this is the most important one!)

2. She plays violin and viola! (only awesome people play viola!)

3. She's super encouraging! (And I mean like super encouraging!!!)

4. She's so funny!!! (and all you do is give her a frosty and you are entertained for the next 10 minutes!)

5. She is beautiful! (inside and out!)

6. She remembers things! (Like stuff that I remember too! Most people really don't pay attention, but she'll be like "That's your favorite outfit!" and it's really cool to have someone who thinks like you do!)

7. She loves her brothers. (She has a great relationship with all of her siblings, she's not like some other girls I met and doesn't complain about how brothers are so annoying, but she's still realistic, they aren't perfect! ;))

8. She has an amazing relationship with her mom! 

9. She has good musical taste! 

10. She is easy to talk to! (this is important to as we have to ride together for two hours every week! O.o)

11. She is an AMAZING stand partner!

12. She can count like no other! (this goes partly with number 11, without her counting, I'd have failed a long time ago!!! She saves the section!)

13. She makes fun memories! (Baking cookies, drinking Frosty's, The Hobbit Party, Dutch Blitz... and many others!)

14. She bought me Dutch Blitz cards because I'm so awesome! ;) 

15. She knows the right thing to do and does it. (this is self explanatory)

16. SHE'S MY FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not what you would expect

This is a song! (I promised you a song, but this isn't the same song.) This is a song that I don't know how to describe what it is. It's a CocaCola ad. I know, sounds like incredibly high quality amazing music doesn't it? But for some reason this music is in a way inspirational! It makes me want to go outside and run, run and accomplish things! Do something! Live life! Be awesome! How does it do that? I don't get it! It's like some cheesy CocaCola ad is inspirational? I don't know, but I do know that I can not stop listening to it. Michael is telling me how simple the chord structure is and we just can't figure out why it's so cool! It's must just be magical! Haha!!! I hope you enjoy it!!! (and the two posts today! :) I'm getting so good at blogging... not...) 

The Hobbit

I spent my entire afternoon watching a movie with some awesome friends I've met in the past year or so. I really enjoyed it and I am so glad we were finally able to get it worked out. It was quite an adventure scheduling it, but it was worth every facepalm. We watched The Hobbit, and it was wonderful! I think everyone who was there enjoyed some part of it! Anyway, I've been super tired and had a headache all day since, but what else does watching a three hour movie do to me??? I think I can feel my brain cells dying.... I hope we can do something like this again when the nest Hobbit movie comes out!! And then the next one too!!! Well, to finish off this really short post here is the soundtrack for The Hobbit, which is amazing to put it simply. I need to own this soon. :D

Something that needs to be said

I need to tell something to the world. It's a statement. A very true statement, that you all need to know, and I need to say. It's a statement that has been impressing itself on me very strongly in the past few days. It makes a big impact on my life. I can't believe I haven't said this statement on my blog yet. It is so true and puts down so many arguments of people who disagree with my point of view on this specific topic. I'm sure you will all think that this statement is really true and agree with me. Or you will hate it and disagree with me. Or you just won't care. Anyway, with all that being said, I'm gonna tell you what it is. :) 

I can live a normal and interesting life without caring about sports. 

I know, that was anticlimactic. But there you have it! That's what I think, and I'm not changing my thought. 

Ok I've had my say, and now I'm done, and I have a recipe for you all later this week!!! Yay!! Excitement! Happiness!!! I also have a concerto movement for you all whenever/if I ever have time to write about it! 

Coffee!!!!

Coffee is an amazing drink!! I didn't used to like it, in fact I used to hate it! Just ask Luke, he knows! ;) However, last December I had a great desire for a peppermint mocha so I went to Biggby and bought myself one! I loved it!!!!!!! So now here I am, a coffee lover. In my opinion, coffee makes a bad day good, a good day better, and a better day best! Michael claims it does something to me and strange things happen when I drink coffee, I don't know how much truth there is to that, but if you know me you can probably guess what a lot of sugar and caffeine do to me! :)

But anyway, this is a good day that the Lord has made! The sun is shining, the sky is blue, and the birds are singing!! We all have reason right now to enjoy God's creation!! (and having a cup of coffee is doing just that!!! :D)  So "Walk on Sunshine!" :)
